Aaaahhh...Amsterdam

Ok, so I guess I am totally naive...when I was looking online for information about Amsterdam, and specifically maps, I thought it was so cool that somebody actually created maps of the Amsterdam coffee houses. Wow, Amsterdam must be a really big coffee city...

Then we get here and I read through the Amsterdam guide my hotel provided...OOOHHHH...coffee houses are where you get the pot and other "soft drugs"....OOOOHHH, that's why they're so popular...

I also read that pretty much as soon as you get into the city you can expect to be offered drugs by someone on the street...we didn't...could it have something to do with the fact that we're walking down the street both eating Carmel rice cakes? Do you think the druggies look at us and go, "dude, don't waste your time."

But seriously, the smell of pot on the streets is giving me a headache...not the munchies...

Off to bike around the city and to the windmills...
